Confidence and Protecting Your energy and Space
Protecting your energy is super important. Take the time to do things that make you feel important and that make you feel confident. In the age of social media we often feel the need to compare ourselves to others. Let me tell you now that you are perfect and that there is no one like you. It is totally impossible to clone you. I too have found myself on social media just comparing myself to other people. I would tell myself I would be better if I had this or if I had that. Then I always remember that whats for me will always be for me. My therapist always tells me that if I spend time on the things that I don’t actually want then how can I find the things that I do want. It’s so important to be intentional of how you navigate through social media. Do not follow pages that don’t motivate you. Any page that makes you question how great you are should be muted. It’s ok to mute and block pages that you are exposed to that don’t align with your mental health.
